Sir,

I thought you may be interested in this photograph. I am the knobbly kneed kid on the right, I think this photo was taken around 1947/1950 at the then Wingfield airport where we lived as my father worked for the PWD in those days. How or why we were at the aircraft posing for a photograph is unknown as I don't remember being there but I do remember all the activity at Wingfield as we used to hang out around the departure building which used to be a cinema, I think it was used by the military as a training venue during the war.
